A rare chance to purchase a bit of history,EUW 938V
This car was the actual car that Ari Vatanen and David Richards used in the 1980/81 British rally championship,
Still in its original Rothmans livery, 2 outright wins and 6 2nd place's,the video the "VATANEN TOUCH" was all about this car
At the end of 1981 this car was stripped down at Gartrac and fully undersealed and rebuilt, it was then offered by Rothmans to Donington Race circuit for display in ther museum but refused as they only take single seater cars!
It was then sold to a customer in Austria who used it for 2 seasons with no accident damage,confirmed recently by Gartrac as the original Chassis, |
